Learning is a lifelong journey and here at Omokoroa Pre School we offer an environment where tamariki are encouraged to be leaders of their own learning. We are passionate about play based learning and creating a developmentally responsive, challenging and stimulating environment giving children opportunities to learn life skills through play and social interaction with children, teachers and the natural environment.  

We have a beautiful natural and spacious outdoor area with fruit trees and vegetables growing which the tamariki are active participants in growing and harvesting fresh produce for their kai. Children are free to explore the indoor and outdoor flow to challenge their curious minds. 

We believe that the foundations of learning begin with responsive and reciprocal relationships. We have quality teacher to child ratios which enables our teachers to create meaningful teaching moments, while developing loving and trusting relationships with tamariki and whanau. 

We believe in creating a home away from home environment for our tamariki and creating a learning journey full of fun, love, laughter and exciting adventures.
